Using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to Identify the Relative Importance of the Features Needed for Web-Based Systems Development

چکیده
Most of new information systems development is now being undertaken with Web-based architectures. The objective of this study is to identify and assess the relative importance of the required features for methodologies used to develop Web-based information systems. Critical success factors (CSFs) for the development of Web-based applications were identified from the literature and organized into a hierarchy consisting of their dimensions and sub-dimensions. The relative importance of the dimensions was assessed through an analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method based on data obtained in Korea from IT professionals. Information properties and risk control were found to be the two main dimensions. Within information properties dimension, integrity of information was found to be the most important sub-dimension. The relative importance of the features was also found to vary for the three industry sectors investigated. less

A geographic information system for gas power plant location using analytical hierarchy process and fuzzy logic
This study recommends a GIS-based (Geographic Information Systems) and multi-criteria evaluation for site selection of gas power plant in Natanz City of Iran. The multi-criteria decision framework integrates legal requirements and physical constraints related to environmental and economic concerns. It also builds a hierarchy model for gas power plant suitability. The methodologies used for site...
متن کاملDetermining the Potential of Rain Water Harvesting Based on Geomorphological Factors and Analytic Hierarchy Process (Kalat Watershed, Khorasan Razavi Province)
In this research, a method is proposed to identify and determine rainwater harvesting potential in a watershed based on geomorphological factors through integrating Geographical Information System (GIS) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). For this purpose, land use, land cover, topography, geology, soil, vegetation, and soil permeability factors were considered the as main geomorphological ...
متن کاملGroundwater potentiality through Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) using remote sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS)
Nowadays the use of remote sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS) is one of the most powerful cost effective tools to identify and discover the available groundwater resources. In this paper, Lithological Units, Lineaments, Slope, Topography, Drainage density, Vegetation and Isohyets lines have been achieved by stations and through remote sensing and GIS techniques. All layers of diffe...
متن کاملProposing a quantitative approach to measure the success of energy management systems in accordance with ISO 50001: 2011 using an analytical hierarchy process (AHP)
ISO 50001: 2011 provides an integrated and systematic framework to plan, implement, operate, certify, and maintain energy management systems (EMSs). Evaluation of organizations in relation to meeting the standard requirements is performed by an auditing qualitative approach. In this research, a quantitative approach has been proposed and implemented to assess organizations and rank them based o...
متن کاملKarstification Potential Mapping in Northeast of Khuzestan Province, Iran, using Fuzzy Logic and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) techniques
The primary objective of the current study is to produce karstification potentiality maps in northeast of Khuzestan province, Iran, using both fuzzy logic and AHP models as an additional tool in hydrogeological research. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) are used to create two maps depicting the development of the karstification, consisting of five classes, showing th...
